Kicking Off Our First Development Project

We’re excited to announce that all our plans are now in place, and we’re preparing to launch our first development project.

Our initial focus will be on a small but crucial project that sets the foundation for the future of the Native Grassy Woodland. The plan includes preparing the site by clearing the western boundary along Sebastopol Road, installing fencing, and creating swales to effectively manage drainage across the property. With these steps in place, we’ll begin planting the first trees—over 100 native trees have been selected for the woodland as part of our landscape design. We anticipate completing this work in the first half of 2025.

To fund this important work, we’ve launched a campaign called “Grow the Garden” with a fundraising goal for this first project of $16,150. We are thrilled to share that we’ve already received our first two generous donations! With Global Giving Tuesday approaching this Tuesday, it’s the perfect opportunity to consider making a contribution. Click the logo below to donate.
