

Mid-winter update
The middle of winter is upon us, bringing the full range of seasonal weather. Since the beginning of June, we've received nearly 300 mm (12 inches) of rain, so the wetlands are certainly living up to their name! We've also enjoyed frosty nights followed by beautiful, sunny, crisp days, and so far we've been spared the worst of the winter winds. Seasonal Update
It has been a little while since our last update as the garden has slowly transitioned from summer into autumn. While there has not been a great deal of visible activity on site in recent months, the changing seasons have brought some welcome relief. During April and May we were fortunate to receive around 120mm (just under five inches) of rain. This has been enough to maintain some water in the wetlands and keep the surface soil damp, bringing a welcome touch of green back t
